It was that time of the year again for the Royal Order of Ponce de Leon Conquistadors – 27th. Anniversary Ball – held on Friday, April 7, 2006 at the Charlotte Country “Tentatorium”. 

Great News !!! The Royal Order of Ponce' De Leon Conquistadors with the help of all Charlotte Countians have raised over $3000.00 for our Hurricane Katrina Sister City "Long Beach, Ms.". You may recall that 20% of all brick sales for this time period is to be given to our sister city along with any monetary donations. After this time period then 100% of the brick sales go to our monument. Thanks to all and lets give it one more try and buy more bricks. Bricks cost $50.00 and will be embedded at the Ponce Statue in Gilchrist Park for all people to see. People are buying bricks in their children's names, for friends, remembering occasions, business names and other things.
